Areas of Responsibility

  • IT help-desk support, including physical moves, additions/enhancements, changes and troubleshooting of end-user computer, printing, software, e-mail, calendar, server access and telecommunications issues
  • Develops and implements policies for effective data management, data extraction and report generation
  • Evaluates, upgrades, and directs process changes for quality improvement
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends in new technologies for data management and reporting tools
  • Interacts with users to answer questions, solve problems, and complete requests regarding system issues; resolves and tracks all support issues in a timely manner
  • Performs hardware installation, set-up, server builds, configuration, and remote management
  • Develops and maintains appropriate system level documentation to ensure all documents remain current; ensures optimal operation, security, and high availability of systems
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks through professional organizations
  • Documents all system processes and emergency responses
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field preferred or 4+ years of experience in data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  •  3+ years’ experience managing computer software, hardware, and a variety of internet applications, database systems, and networks
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • Familiarity with various database systems including modern database and information system technologies including MS SQLServer, FileMaker Pro Advanced, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Familiarity with modern data extraction, transformation, and upload tools and procedures
  • Understanding of Cisco Networking, Microsoft Server, Hyper-V and SAN technologies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Experience with Real Estate Development or Property Management companies
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.)
